My Chosen Idea

I have been having trouble with finding an idea and I have decided I'm not going to do a sketch show, instead im going to keep the the genre of comedy and do a short film looking into the views a modern day jesus/prophet would have. I feel this would be a good idea as short films are supposed to be original and unconventional. religious short films are not very popular in the short film industry and especially not comedic ones. This will be risky as I will be pushing the socially acceptable barriers through doing this but I think it will be original which is one of my goals in creating this short film. As of now I am going to look into religious short films and analyse them to see if i can draw out any conventions of the genre and see if i could twist these in a way which somehwhat follows these conventions but puts a comedic or sarcastic twist when they are inputed into my short film.
