budget
initially, i didnt want to spend any money on my production, but after thinking this through further, i realised i will need to factor in a bbudget. from this i decided by making the most of cost free equipemnt and props, i will minimise the cost of production. i will do this by using equipment already owned or borrowed. after thinking this through i set my budget at 30 pound.
the actual cost
equipment
camera: free
tripod: free
dolly wheels: free
actors
hiring: free
expensises (food): £10.00

car: free
petrol: £20.00

computer access: free
due to going to a school with a wide range of equipment, i was able to take advantage of this and getfilimg euqipment for free. this prevented me from eduring the cost of a brand new camera which would start from at least 100 pound for just the camera.
the actors i casted were free which was a plus as professional acotrs can take up a fration of the budget in a film production, and because i had three characetrs in th film, 3 actors would have been essential, i was able to minimise this by acting in the film myself. the two actors i used was only had the expense of food as i was responsible for their transport.
with the editing porcess, again thanks the media department of my school i was able to obtain editing software for free which was a bonus as editing software can be constly in low budget prodcutions. however i do felel my prodcuton could have been better with slightly more advanced editing software.
