i hadnt yet decided on a genre but i was intrigued by the idea of a short documentry film and dark comedy short films. therfore my ideas were swaying towards these genres.

after that, i found a short film made in light of a young boy who got areested for bringing in a homemade clock which teachers thought was a bomb. this was a touchy subject area but they expressed the situation very well added the perfect balance of comedic elemt with outrageous factual information about peoples perceptions of middle eastern and asian people. this has given me the idea to also express a small current affair.
